Job Summary
Orthodontic Dental Assistant (EFDA) responsible for delivering a positive clinical experience under the Orthodontist's supervision, including placing/removing orthodontic appliances, bonding and positioning brackets, reviewing charts, performing laboratory procedures, managing patient flow, and leading remote monitoring triage and patient communications. Education required: High School Diploma or equivalent; 1 year of Orthodontic Clinician II experience; state-required Dental Assistant certification, Radiography certification, and CPR certification. Responsibilities also include infection control, instrument sterilization, dental operatory prep, and assisting in local store marketing and community events. Strong patient rapport, multi-tasking, and ability to work within a team are emphasized.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year experience as an Orthodontic Clinician II
- Dental Assistant certification if required by state Dental Board
- Radiography certification if required by state Dental Board
- CPR certification if required by state Dental Board
