Job Summary
Perform sterilization procedures per OSHA guidelines, prepare precise tray setups, and obtain diagnostic records including X-rays, scans, and impressions. Provide direct chairside assistance under orthodontist supervision, enter clinical notes, and educate patients on appliance care. Fabricate Essix retainers, document lab cases, and maintain operatory cleanliness. Work full-time in a fast-paced environment with peak demand after school and work hours; local travel may be required. Starting pay is $22.00 per hour with health, dental, and vision benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Dental assistant licenses or certification
- Minimum 6 months of experience in dental or healthcare setting
- Knowledge of dental terminology, techniques, and procedures
- Strong attendance and reliability
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Clear communication and professional demeanor
- Local travel between offices may be required
