Job Summary
Prepare for orthodontic procedures by sterilizing tools and ensuring necessary equipment is in place. Keep patients' mouths clean and dry during treatments while handing the orthodontist required instruments at appropriate times. Educate patients on procedures, treatment progress, and plans to ensure comfort and understanding. This role encompasses all aspects of clinical dental care, including taking x-rays of jaw bone structure and photographing teeth. Requires previous ortho chairside assisting experience and certification in coronal polishing, sealants, or nitrous. Full-time position with Monday through Friday hours from 8:30 am to 6 pm. United Dental Partners serves multi-specialty dental practices in Chicago and Northwest Indiana, offering general, pediatric, orthodontic, and oral surgery care.
Required Qualifications
- Coronal polishing/sealant, and/or nitrous certified

- Previous ortho chairside assisting is preferred
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm for the workday
- Excellent customer service skills with an outgoing, people friendly personality
