Orthodontic Dental Assistant

Assist the orthodontist during procedures (installing braces, adjusting wires, and placing aligners); prepare and sterilize orthodontic instruments and equipment; fabricate and fit orthodontic appliances (retainers, space maintainers); remove braces, wires, and bands; maintain accurate patient records and document treatment progress; educate patients on oral hygiene techniques specific to orthodontic care; maintain infection control standards; prepare tray setups and manage supplies; take digital x-rays for treatment assessment; manage orthodontic supply inventory; stay current with advancements in orthodontics and maintain required certifications; perform other duties as assigned; patient-focused, team player with exceptional customer service and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
