Job Summary
Orthodontic Clinician II delivers positive clinical experiences under the supervision of an Orthodontist. Responsibilities include assisting with placement/removal of orthodontic appliances, taking full records, managing patient flow and scheduling, reviewing charts, performing laboratory procedures, assisting with final checks and patient flow, handling remote monitoring workflows (including triage of patient scans and messages), educating patients on orthodontic care, sterilizing/cleaning equipment per infection-control protocols, and supporting local marketing/community events. Requires High School Diploma or equivalent and orthodontic experience or progression as Clinician I, plus required state certifications (Dental Assistant, Radiography, CPR as applicable).
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one (1) year of previous Orthodontic experience or six (6) months experience as Smile Doctor’s Orthodontic Clinician I
- Dental Assistant certification if required by state Dental Board
- Radiography certification if required by state Dental Board
- CPR certification if required by state Dental Board
