Job Summary
Orthodontic Assistant for Westrock Orthodontics responsible for assisting the Orthodontist with patients, performing clinical and technical procedures under direct supervision, preparing operatory and equipment, and aiding during examinations and ortho treatment. Communicate treatment needs to parents/patients using the prescribed plan; manage consent forms; ensure patient comfort and safety; document all treatment in dental records (electronic and paper); handle housekeeping and restocking; travel between Joplin and Nevada, MO clinics as required. Qualifications: dental assisting background helpful but not mandatory; orthodontic assisting experience especially valued; familiarity with orthodontic appliances welcome; strong customer service, computer literacy, independent work capability, and teamwork.
