Job Summary
Assist orthodontists chairside during procedures by placing, adjusting, and removing braces, brackets, and bands as directed. Take X-rays, scans, impressions, and patient progress photos while preparing treatment rooms and sterilizing instruments. Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and braces aftercare, and maintain accurate patient records in the EMR. Coordinate with clinical and front office teams, cross-training as needed. This full-time position offers $17–$20/hour in Allen and McKinney, with benefits including health, dental, vision insurance, PTO, and a 401(k) match.
Required Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant or Orthodontic Assistant
- RDA or CDA certification
- Compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented mindset
- Standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the day
- Manual dexterity
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant or Orthodontic Assistant (preferred)
- RDA or CDA certification (preferred)
