Job Summary
Orthodontic Assistant role performing chairside support for the orthodontist, including patient prep, assisting during procedures, finishing appointments, and providing patient education. Must review patient notes to anticipate instruments and procedures, support patient comfort, communicate treatment needs to clinic staff, and utilize orthodontic software and iTero scanning. Requires excellent communication, organizational skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and experience with taking X-rays and maintaining patient records in a clinical orthodontic setting.
Required Qualifications
- Certification in dental assisting
- Previous dental assisting experience required
