Orthodontic Assistant at H2 Orthodontics

Assist the orthodontist during treatments by placing and removing braces, taking digital impressions, adjusting wires, and applying or removing elastics and other orthodontic appliances. Ensure patient comfort throughout procedures while preparing patients for treatments by explaining steps and addressing concerns. Sterilize and prepare instruments in compliance with infection control protocols, maintaining clean and organized clinical areas. Take diagnostic X-rays, panoramic images, or digital scans as required for treatment planning and update accurate patient records in the practice management system. Educate patients on proper appliance care and provide post-treatment instructions regarding retainers and follow-up visits. Monitor inventory of orthodontic supplies and reordering as needed to maintain adequate stock.
