Job Summary
Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care through outcome identification and evidence-based practice. Administer, monitor, and document therapeutic interventions while effectively managing rapidly changing situations. Coordinate patient care by communicating and collaborating extensively with healthcare team members, patients, and families. Participate in clinical decision-making, delegate and monitor care rendered by others, and educate patients regarding disease processes and safety issues. Maintain professional ethics and departmental competencies while identifying opportunities for performance improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Valid NJ RN License
- Demonstrates knowledge of nursing skills, hospital practices, procedures and standards
- Must have strong communication skills
- Must be able to coordinate efforts of a team of care providers
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
