Job Summary
Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care through outcome identification and evidence-based practice. Administer, monitor, and document therapeutic interventions while effectively managing rapidly changing situations. Coordinate patient care by communicating extensively with the healthcare team, patients, and families. Educate patients and families regarding disease processes, individual care needs, and safety issues. Delegate and monitor care rendered by other nursing department members. Participate in clinical decision-making, orientation, education, and performance improvement activities. Maintain professional ethics and departmental competencies. Requires valid NJ RN license and strong communication skills. Full-time day shift (12-hour) at Mount Holly.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrates knowledge of nursing skills, hospital practices, procedures and standards
- Must have strong communication skills
- Must be able to coordinate efforts of a team of care providers
- Must have valid NJ RN License
- Approved licenses must be presented and maintained in accordance with the State of New Jersey Licensing Board
