Ortho Spinal Surgery Clinical Nurse - (Part-Time)

Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation within the standards of nursing care; educates patients and families on post-treatment home care needs and medication administration; develops, implements and documents individualized plans of care in collaboration with the interprofessional team; promotes patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance; participates in professional development and communicates the plan of care across the continuum; serves on an orthopedic/neuro spine unit with rehabilitation services, focusing on joint replacements, back surgeries and related procedures; 12-hour shifts, day schedule, with every 3rd weekend and every 3rd holiday; safety-sensitive position; Magnet hospital designation; RN licensure required; Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree required with Bachelor's preferred; potential for career ladder advancement through BJC RN Career Ladder.
