Job Summary
Ortho Infectious Diseases physician to join Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA, with a focus on bone and joint/musculoskeletal infections. Responsibilities include inpatient bone and joint consultations with ambulatory follow-up, outpatient evaluation in collaboration with surgeons at the Bone & Joint Center, sporadic back-up coverage of other Infectious Diseases services, and opportunities for research. Faculty appointment commensurate with experience; competitive salary with relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits. Qualifications include MD/DO or foreign equivalent, completion of accredited ID training, BE/BC in Infectious Diseases, and ability to obtain PA license. Required Qualifications
- MD, DO, or foreign equivalent
- Complete accredited AGME training program
- BE/BC Infectious Diseases physician
- Completion of an accredited Infectious Diseases training program
- Ability to acquire license in the State of Pennsylvania
