Job Summary
Provide chair-side clinical support to the orthodontist by preparing patients for treatment, charting, and educating them on their care. Assist with preparing materials and equipment, changing wires and brackets, taking impressions and scans, and sterilizing instruments while maintaining asepsis. Review the daily schedule to set up trays, enter treatment plans, and prepare treatment estimates for patient discussion. Record and review patient health history, making chart entries and completing forms in dental software under the doctor's direction.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years' experience
- State Licensure where specified
- Valid Dental Radiographer License for respective state requirements
- CPR Certification Required
- Commitment to providing exceptional service, support, and education to patients
