Job Summary
Kalman & Company, Inc. seeks a highly motivated ORSA-experienced analyst to collaborate with Federal and DoD clients in the Quantico/Stafford, VA area. The role requires US Citizenship, active Secret clearance (or ability to obtain), and a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field with 5+ years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include workforce planning, data/decision analysis, and reporting using tools such as Access, Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and Word; developing BI solutions and dashboards; data profiling, quality assurance, data dictionaries, predictive modeling, and trend analyses; defining data collection strategies and data frameworks; data integration from multiple sources; communicating analyses to government stakeholders; and provisioning automated analytics (Power BI, Power Apps, AI, ML) as part of an evolving analytics portfolio. Required Qualifications
- US Citizenship
- Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in a Quantitative Field (Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Computer Science, etc.)
- More than five years overall experience, primarily related to data analytics or workforce planning or manpower.
- Knowledge of DoD acquisition, financial, and PPBE processes and experience supporting DoD decision analysis efforts.
- Strong quantitative skills with ability to critically analyze client requirements, disparate collections of datasets and market intelligence and synthesize all inputs into coherent, insightful cost deliverables, findings, and recommendations.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and presentation skills and the ability to contribute effectively to working groups through oral and written communication.
- Comprehensive understanding of current principles, practices, and techniques of Systems Analysis, Business Analysis, and Business Intelligence.
- Produce and enhance reports and dashboards.
- Skilled in using data analytics tools such as Access, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, etc.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
