Job Summary
Bilingual Youth Care Worker provides supervision of at-risk youth, helps maintain daily schedules, leads outdoor activities, and supports development of innovative programs within Sycamore Canyon Academy’s therapeutic-educational environment. The role includes working with youth in school and during outings, with onsite housing, meals, and transportation provided. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, bilingual Spanish/English, 1 year of related experience, and ability to pass background checks and health screenings. Schedule includes two shifts with overtime opportunities; compensation includes pay of $23.74/hour and a $1,000 sign-on bonus for days.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- 1 year of working in a child welfare or agency setting
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test
- Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry
