Job Summary
Deliver AHA/ARC CPR and BLS training sessions, demonstrating proper techniques and evaluating student performance to ensure certification requirements are met. Prepare lesson plans, provide clear feedback, and manage training equipment including at least three manikin sets. Follow applicable course standards while maintaining a professional learning experience for students and clients. Classes are primarily scheduled on weekends with weekday availability preferred, with pay ranging from $25.00 to $45.00 per teaching hour. This role supports ALLCPR's mission to raise community health standards by training over 80,000 participants annually across more than 200 locations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CPR/BLS Instructor Certification
- Valid CPR Instructor Certification
- Strong knowledge of CPR and AED procedures
- Clear communication and teaching skills
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively
- Strong organizational skills
- Reliable time-management skills
- Ability to work with students of different experience levels
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to lift and transport training equipment up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to physically demonstrate proper CPR and AED skills during class
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Weekday availability is preferred
