Job Summary
Oversee daily export/origin workflow and align team capacity with volume. Improve process efficiency, workflow management, and milestone governance while monitoring dashboards and exception reports to ensure compliance. Establish clear communication protocols for client transparency and issue resolution, conducting performance reviews and providing recommendations on coaching, hiring, and corrective actions. Maintain standard operating procedures and define clear roles within the team. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance service quality, serving as subject matter expert for systems and processes to support demos and training. Lead change management for new software, system enhancements, and SOP updates. Manage relationships with client contacts and internal Business Development and Account Management, supporting client business reviews and account performance discussions. Resolve customer issues proactively and use performance metrics to identify and mitigate supply chain risks. Lead onboarding and training for new clients, new origins, and vendors to build a high-performance culture through continuous development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Five or more years of global logistics experience
- At least three years of managerial responsibilities
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to grasp extensive knowledge while dealing with a variety of people
- Ability to manage multi-faceted operational demands
- Strong organizational logic
- Structured, data-driven judgment
- Strong critical thinking
- Root cause analysis
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
