Job Summary

Organizing Strategist role focusing on planning and implementing voter participation and advocacy campaigns for partner organizations. Responsibilities include designing and delivering trainings and guidance for partner staff on campaign planning, organizing practice, and campaign tools; building and maintaining organizing infrastructure (outreach, follow-up, event coordination, and volunteer engagement); translating research into practical recommendations; coordinating with campaign vendors and internal teams; supporting in-person and virtual convenings, trainings, and partner-facing events; tracking campaign progress and surfacing risks; documenting partner needs and lessons learned to strengthen practice and support model. Qualifications emphasize multi-stakeholder relationship management, facilitating trainings, familiarity with organizing tools and data-informed strategy, strong communication, and a demonstrated commitment to equity and civic engagement.

Required Qualifications

  • 4 to 7 years of experience in organizing, advocacy, electoral, civic engagement, or campaign-related work
  • Demonstrated experience supporting campaigns and/or community-based programs from planning through execution
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple workstreams and keep partners and internal stakeholders aligned
  • Experience working directly with external partners, clients, coalition members, or community-based organizations in a relationship management or support capacity
  • Experience facilitating trainings or support sessions for practitioners with varying skill levels
  • Familiarity with organizing tools, voter file platforms, canvassing apps, or related campaign technology
  • Familiarity with data-informed campaign strategy and using research to improve voter engagement and organizing tactics
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and make it useful for practitioners
  • Sound judgment, strong follow-through, and comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple competing priorities
  • Commitment to civic engagement, equity, and community-centered work
