Job Summary
Collaborate with consultants, subject-matter experts, and client stakeholders to identify learning needs, conduct assessments, and develop effective training solutions including instructor-led, virtual, blended, and self-paced experiences. Create instructional materials such as e-learning modules, facilitator guides, and job aids while applying adult-learning principles and methodologies like ADDIE and SAM. Support the delivery of workshops, webinars, and coaching sessions, then collect and analyze learner feedback to evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements. Manage assigned deliverables and timelines while maintaining strong standards for accuracy, quality, and client service. Work onsite five days per week in Springfield, Illinois, with the ability to travel within the United States based on project needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organization, prioritization, and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines while producing high-quality work
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse client and project teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Willingness to learn new technologies, methodologies, and subject matter quickly
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must live, or be willing to relocate, within commuting distance of ISI's Springfield, Illinois office
- Must be willing and able to work onsite five days per week
- Must possess a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance that meets Illinois minimum requirements
- Must be willing and able to travel within the United States based on client and project needs
- Must be available, when necessary, to meet project commitments, deadlines, and assigned business-area needs
Desired Qualifications
- Experience or coursework in instructional design, curriculum development, training delivery, adult learning, or e-learning
- Familiarity with tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, Vyond, Visio, or Jira
- Experience developing presentations, job aids, facilitator materials, or digital learning content
- Experience facilitating meetings, presentations, workshops, or training sessions
- Familiarity with organizational change management or business process improvement
- A degree in instructional design, education, organizational development, communications, business, or a related field
