Job Summary

Develop and implement change management strategies and plans using the Manitoba Public Insurance Change Management Methodology to support business objectives. Lead assigned initiatives by facilitating stakeholder involvement, coaching impacted leaders on readiness, and co-creating interventions through collaborative planning sessions. Collaborate with communications, training, and talent partners to align training with change plans, integrate communication deliverables, and manage project risks. Identify development needs for stakeholders, conduct post-implementation assessments, and refine the organizational change management methodology. Act as a change champion and advocate for enterprise-wide initiatives while participating in regular team refinements.

Required Qualifications

  • Undergraduate Degree in Business Administration, Education, or Social Sciences
  • Five years related experience in leading change management initiatives using project management methodologies, including assessing training needs, customizing and delivering training, and providing consulting services to management
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically, and deliver tactically
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, analyze, recommend and implement solutions to a variety of change management issues as they arise
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with stakeholder departments and individuals
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible in one's approach to established plans based on emerging needs
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage change management tactical plans based on strategy documents
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects involving various departments/divisions
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time and stress in a dynamic environment and working to deadlines
  • Superior oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to have continuous learning to maintain knowledge of current change practices and to stay current with merging best performances in the relevant practices
  • Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Must be willing and able to travel locally
  • Access to a personal vehicle

Desired Qualifications

  • Solid knowledge of MS Project considered an asset
