Job Summary

Organisational Change Support Officer role within the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) SA, hybrid work arrangement with three days in-office and two days from home, 12-month contract with possible extensions. The role supports change management and project delivery across the Prioritise Veterans' Wellness and Treatment Program, focusing on change planning and impact assessments, stakeholder engagement, benefits management, communications, training coordination, and governance. Responsibilities include maintaining change registers, readiness activities, coordinating workshops/communications, developing training materials, preparing reports, and ensuring consistent messaging aligned with DVA. Essential activities cover planning, stakeholder mapping, benefits realisation, staff and veteran communications, training logistics, and secretariat support for governance forums. Required capabilities include change management, documentation, stakeholder engagement, reporting, training coordination, and collaborative teamwork, all under APS values and DVA culture.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience supporting change management or project delivery activities
  • Ability to develop and manage documentation, registers, and plans
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Well-developed communication skills, including ability to prepare clear written materials
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience supporting engagement activities and responding to stakeholder needs
