Job Summary
Organisational Change Support Officer supports the Change Manager across change planning and impact support, stakeholder engagement, benefits management, communications, training coordination, and governance. Responsibilities include maintaining change registers, supporting readiness and deployment planning, mapping stakeholders, delivering engagement activities, developing and tracking benefits data, drafting communications and stakeholder materials, coordinating training logistics and materials, and contributing to program governance and reporting. The role requires strong organisational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, and alignment with APS values. Hybrid working arrangement with typical 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. Contract length is 12 months with potential extensions (2x12 months). Must be able to obtain Baseline security clearance. Remuneration is $90-$110 per hour (including super). Location: Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
Required Qualifications
- Essential Criteria: Change Management and Project Support Skills; Ability to develop and manage documentation, registers, and plans; Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Well-developed communication skills, ability to prepare clear written materials; Ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders; Experience supporting engagement activities and responding to stakeholder needs.
- Delivery and Results Focus: Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work to deadlines; Experience supporting reporting, data collection, or performance tracking; Strong problem-solving skills and initiative.
- Learning and Capability Support: Experience supporting training coordination or development activities; Ability to translate information into practical learning materials or guidance; Commitment to supporting capability uplift and continuous improvement.
- Working Collaboratively: Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team; Willingness to support others, share knowledge, and contribute to a positive team culture; Commitment to APS Values and DVA’s culture.
