Job Summary
The Gardener/Farmer performs general garden labor including routine plant care, greenhouse care, irrigation implementation and repair, compost building, weeding, watering, growing food, and fruit orchard maintenance. The role supports permaculture practices and provides farm-to-table produce to the resort restaurant and mercantile. Candidates should be comfortable working outdoors in all conditions, enjoy learning daily, and work well with others; responsibilities also include assisting with guest interactions and maintaining garden operations. Education emphasis includes Bachelor's degree preferred with organic farming/gardening experience valued; physical capability to lift 50 lbs and collaborate within a team are required.
