Job Summary
Answer incoming referral calls, screen for donor suitability, and coordinate the logistics of organ recoveries and placement for transplantation. Facilitate the transplant process by maintaining regular contact with transplant surgeons, transplant coordinators, and other key hospital staff members. Manage conflict and multi-task in a fast-paced healthcare environment while ensuring accurate documentation and attention to detail. Work 12-hour shifts including overnights, holidays, and weekends, with occasional remote options after orientation. Must reside within 60-90 minutes of Waltham, MA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- One year of relevant experience
- Three years relevant experience
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Working knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience multi-tasking in a fast-paced healthcare or medical setting
- Excellent communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work 12 hour shifts
- Comfortable with managing conflict
- Must live within 60-90 minutes from Waltham, MA
- Must be vaccinated and boosted for COVID-19
