Job Summary

Coordinate all activities for the handling, storing, and shipment of ammunition, rockets, mines, and explosive components at NSW Detachment Guam. Process documents for ammunition issue and receipts to maintain 100% accountability, while preparing schedules for transportation, storage, and receiving across land, vessel, and air modes. Advise Weapons department personnel on ordnance, safety, controls, and forecasting, and respond to audits regarding ordnance accounting and qualification programs. Manage hazardous waste disposal and maintain the Joint Munitions Command Price and Availability account for JCET training munitions. Oversee ordnance accounting data via the OIS database to ensure full accountability and provide expenditure metrics.

Required Qualifications

  • SECRET clearance
  • Be a U.S. Citizen
  • possess a current and valid U.S. passport
  • maintain a valid U.S. passport for the entire period of performance of the contract
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of direct experience of knowledge, and processes associated with the Navy Ordnance Information System (OIS)
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of direct AA&E experience
  • Thorough understanding of Naval Administration Reclassification of Notices (NARS) current processing and notification procedures
  • Ammunition Transaction Reporting (ATR) system
  • NAVSUP-P 724, OP5, and DPAS programs, or equivalent authorized Government property management systems
