Job Summary
A Customer Service team member takes customer orders, payments, answers the telephone, takes customer’s food orders, and helps where there is a hospitality need in the deli. Education is preferred to be a high school diploma or GED; six months of work experience is preferred unless still in school. Must learn the aloha register system, be able to read/write, communicate in English, perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division), and balance money and credit card slips. Physical requirements include standing up to six hours, frequent reaching and lifting up to 30 pounds, and maintaining regular attendance. Health and dress-code policies per city health regulations and Jason’s Deli dress code apply. EOE.
Required Qualifications
- Education: It is preferred the applicant be enrolled in high school or a certified G.E.D. program or have their high school diploma or G.E.D.
- Experience: at least six months work experience preferred (unless currently attending school)
- Skills: learn the aloha register system, read/write, English, basic math, money handling, balancing money and credit card slips
- Physical: stand for up to six hours; lift up to 30 pounds; dress code compliance
- Health/Dress: comply with health regulations and dress code
