Job Summary
Take customer orders, process payments, answer the telephone, and assist with hospitality needs in the deli. Learn the Aloha register system, read and write effectively, and communicate in English while performing basic math and handling credit card charge slips. Stand and exert mobility for up to six hours in a fast-paced environment, frequently reaching, bending, and lifting up to 30 pounds. Maintain regular attendance and comply with city health regulations and dress code policies.
Required Qualifications

- perform basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- counting change correctly
- handling, organizing, and balancing money and credit card charge slips
- ability to stand and exert mobility in a fast-pace environment for up to six (6) hours in length
- frequent reaching, bending, squatting and stooping
- ability to safely lift and carry up to 30 pounds repetitively
- maintain regular attendance
- use cash register, calculator, and credit card machine
- comply with the applicable city Department of Health regulations
- comply with Jason's Deli's dress code policies
Desired Qualifications
- enrolled in high school or a certified G.E.D. program
- high school diploma or G.E.D.
- at least six months work experience
