Job Summary
Locate and lift cases, boxes, bags, and pallets of dry groceries, frozen foods, dairy, produce, poultry, fish, beef, and pork in specific quantities for customer delivery. Operate single and double pallet jacks and perform proper wrapping techniques to ensure product safety. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by conducting inspections of powered industrial equipment using safety checklists. Report damaged products, quality issues, and out-of-stock items. Work in dry, cooled, or freezer compartments while meeting production standards in a fast-paced warehouse operation.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment in accordance with Company safety policies and procedures
- Ability to work in multi-temperature areas as assigned (e.g. freezer, coolers, dry conditions)
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance as needed
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays, days and night hours, and overtime as necessary and as assigned
- Must be able to work in the condition specified for 8-10 hours shift as assigned
- Travel requirements vary by assignment
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Prior order selecting experience preferred
- Prior experience operating power industrial equipment preferred
