Job Summary
Order selectors fill customer orders and deliver completed pallets to the correct loading dock, operating in a temperature-controlled environment including a Freezer department. Responsibilities include following food and safety policies, efficiently selecting orders, labeling cases with pick labels, ensuring correct quantities, locating products with a voice-driven selecting system, building pallets, shrink-wrapping, maintaining a fast-paced workflow, and reporting safety hazards and equipment malfunctions. Skills include operating an electric pallet jack, lifting up to 70 lbs, correctly reading product descriptions and locations, basic English literacy and math, and adapting to temperature-varied environments.
