Job Summary
Order Selector/Material Handler role in Phoenix, AZ. Responsible for staging, replenishing and picking materials to fill store and dealer orders, operating ride-on electric pallet jack and RF scanner, maintaining safe working environment, and ensuring accurate, efficient order fulfillment. Key duties include receiving, warehouse replenishment, picking and building orders for shipments, applying proper lifting techniques, using stretch wrap, and maintaining forklift licenses/certifications for equipment like reach trucks and electric pallet jacks. Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, wear safety gear, and comply with safety requirements. Shift is 2nd shift (2:30pm-11pm) Monday-Friday with mandatory overtime; location Abacus Staffing in Phoenix, AZ. Compensation is $21.50 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Experience operating a ride-on electric pallet jack
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Familiarity with RF scanners for order picking
- Knowledge of forklift equipment maintenance and safety
- Steel toe boots and safety glasses required
