Job Summary
Order Puller responsible for material handling, RF scanning, and VLM operations to support manufacturing scheduling. Performs item placement in storage, retrieves parts for WIP, replenishes and maintains VLM inventory, conducts order picking and labeling, and delivers pulled orders to staging. Communicates shortages and quality issues to affected departments, corrects inventory discrepancies, and adheres to safety and accuracy standards. Requires High School Diploma or GED, ability to stand for the shift and lift up to 50 lbs, willingness to be trained in material handling and VLM operations, and certification in a single-person lift device. Schedule is 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, Monday–Friday, onsite in Downers Grove, IL. Compensation is $18.50 per hour, with benefits including 401(k), health/dental/vision insurance, paid time off, holidays, and eligible bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years of age or older and have legal status to work in the United States
- Willing to be trained in material handling, order pulling, and VLM operations
- Must obtain single person lift device (e.g., Crown WAV) certification and maintain it (renewing every 3 years)
- Experience: at least 3 years of order-pulling experience is preferred
- Willingness to learn Oracle, email and other software as needed
- Ability to stand for the entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Pay: $18.50 per hour; benefits eligibility including 401(k), health insurance, PTO, etc.
