Job Summary
Efficiently process orders and handle materials as an experienced Fork lift operator. Responsibilities include locating inventory per order, assembling customer orders with appropriate packaging, restocking materials ensuring organization, and staging materials for manufacturing and shipping. Maintain accuracy of orders and report shortages while ensuring a clean work area. Candidates must possess knowledge and ability to operate relevant equipment, perform basic calculations, and communicate effectively in English. Training on swing shift will precede transition to Day Shift.
Required Qualifications
- Experienced Fork lift operator
- Knowledge of all equipment, its use, and ability to operate it
- Ability to add and subtract, multiply and divide; calculate linear, board, and square footage
- Ability to read and comprehend detailed instructions, to write detailed correspondence, and to communicate information to customers and employees in English.
- Ability to learn and use software computer applications, to include Microsoft Office Suite and Epicor
Additional Requirements
- Must be willing to train on swing shift from 3:30pm to 12:00pm for a two-week period, then move to Day Shift.
