Job Summary
Order Processor at Avnet performs distribution center activities including packing, shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, stock handling, storing and inventory support. Responsibilities include fulfilling orders from stored inventory to meet customer requirements and inspection/testing processes, shipping orders within time commitments, documenting shipments, communicating with leads/supervisors about fulfillment issues, receiving and inspecting incoming materials, returning defective materials, ensuring packing lists and shipping labels are complete and accurate, identifying and participating in process improvements, and maintaining/updating systems. May require standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds; forklift certification may be required; visual acuity standards may apply for final inspections.
