Job Summary
Order Picker responsible for the creation of customer shipment orders, coordinating with the shipping department and warehouse staff to move finished product, operate power equipment (forklift, pallet jack), and ensure accurate, timely order fulfillment. Role is first shift (Tuesday–Friday, 6:00 am – 4:30 pm) at the Amsterdam, NY LEED-certified Beech-Nut facility. Requires lifting up to 50 lbs, basic computer skills, English literacy, and experience with warehouse systems (SAP/Oracle) and RF/gun technology; duties include scanning/inventory tracking, cycle counts, sanitation, and labeling for daily FedEx/UPS pickups; union membership after a 60-day probation is required. Safety, housekeeping, and adherence to PPE requirements are emphasized; several benefits and on-site amenities are noted as part of the role.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to read and write in English
- Experience in light industrial or warehousing preferred
- Experience with forklift or RF guns a plus
- Experience with warehouse systems (SAP, Oracle)
- Experience using manufacturing operation systems (HMI, Tabware)
