Job Summary
Conduct daily inspections on lifting equipment prior to startup, then load material against pick lists while scanning product tags. Verify incoming shipments against BOLs, apply stock tags, and update inventory locations. Stage and transfer materials within the building, ensuring safe preservation of stored products. Generate and package ASIS products, apply finish good tags, and complete all necessary reports. Bring non-conforming product or damaged equipment to the Shipping/Receiving Department or Production Supervisor for disposition. Maintain good housekeeping, initiate continuous improvement efforts, and train new employees as required. Operate remote cranes, booms, lift trucks, and side loaders to handle ferrous and non-ferrous extrusions and long products.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma required or equivalent work experience
- Effective time management skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Drive, determination and ability to work both independently with little direction and as part of a team
- Qualified to operate Remote Cranes and Booms
- Qualified to operate Lift truck
- Qualified to operate Side Loader
- Ability to use Measuring and Computer Equipment (scanner / D365)
