Job Summary
Drive a lift truck to manage incoming and outgoing tires and merchandise, storing items in appropriate warehouse locations. Prepare shipments for various customers, fill out documentation for inventory, and adjust product placement while maintaining a safe work environment. Keep an accurate inventory of all tires and merchandise, participating in general warehouse maintenance. This role requires a minimum of six months to one year of experience operating a stand-up Raymond/Crown lift in a narrow aisle environment. Candidates must not be afraid of heights, possess excellent physical shape for lifting heavy loads, and hold a valid driver's license. The position involves a Monday-to-Friday, 40-hour day shift with overtime possibilities within Unimax's tire distribution network.
Required Qualifications
- Drive a lift truck
- Minimum of 6 months to 1 year experience driving a stand-up Raymond/Crown lift (mandatory)
- preferably in a narrow aisle environment
- Must not be afraid of heights as the lift trucks go up to 30' high
- Be in excellent physical shape and be able to lift heavy loads
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Fit to work in a tire warehouse
- Valid driver's license
