Job Summary
Operate a Cherry Picker to locate, retrieve, and move inventory across multiple warehouse levels while maintaining high picking accuracy and strict safety compliance. Master the facility layout to consistently meet daily performance targets and foster a culture of safety and teamwork. This full-time position requires at least 12 consecutive months of hands-on equipment experience, comfort working at elevated heights up to five levels, and the ability to handle high temperatures and humidity. Candidates must have reliable personal transportation and be available for overtime, including early starts, late finishes, and weekend shifts.
Required Qualifications
- At least 12 consecutive months of hands-on experience operating an Order Picker (Cherry Picker)
- Ability and comfort working at elevated heights
- Ability to work comfortably in a standard warehouse environment, which is subject to high temperatures and humidity during warmer months
- Access to reliable, personal transportation
- Commitment to working overtime hours, early starts (6:00 AM), late finishes (4:30 PM), and weekends when production demands require it
Desired Qualifications
- Active or prior forklift/order picker safety certification
- Experience using RF scanners and digital inventory management systems
- Previous experience in high-volume distribution or logistics centers
- Having your own vehicle
