Job Summary
Conduct order assembly, palletizing, and loading/unloading of products in the Load-out/Cooler areas. Operate motorized and manual equipment including forklifts to distribute pallets and stage materials. Maintain accurate records on load sheets and inventory while ensuring proper code date rotation and food safety compliance. Report mechanical issues, product shortages, and packaging problems to management immediately. Perform trailer checks and maintain a clean, sanitary work area following all safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices. Work the 3rd shift from 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM in a 35-40 degree Fahrenheit environment, utilizing continuous improvement to optimize processes.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Minimum 2 years recent experience operating a forklift in a high efficiency environment
- Must be able to pass a written and driving forklift skills test
- Must be able to sit and/or stand and drive for virtually the entire shift
- Must be able to stand, walk, push or pull a majority of the day
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and manually stack and move cases up to 5-8 cases high
- Must be able to work in an environment where temperature is maintained at 35-40 degrees Fahrenheit
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays
- Be able to effectively work in a team environment
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment screens (including drug, background and criminal checks.)
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Experience within the food and beverage industry preferred
