Job Summary
Pull customer orders using the first in first out method and accurately document shipments with a 99.9% accuracy rate. Receive, off-load, and breakdown incoming shipments while counting against vendor packing slips and ensuring date coding. Transport finished goods to the warehouse, load and unload trucks, and stage orders for shipment via UPS or FedEx. Safely operate motorized and non-motorized equipment, restock shelves, and assist with annual inventory processes. Maintain a clean workspace, follow safety regulations, and participate in performance improvement programs. Requires at least one year of warehouse experience, forklift certification preferred, and the ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Basic math skills
- Computer data entry
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- At least one year of related warehouse/shipping experience
- Must be able to lift and move objects a minimum of 50 pounds regularly
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of this position such as standing for extended periods of time, lifting, bending, stooping, climbing, crawling and occasionally kneeling
