Job Summary
Conduct accurate storing, picking, packaging, and shipping of product with a focus on safety, quality, service velocity, and waste/cost reduction. Operate a forklift or other powered material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Fill customer orders and deliver them to the correct staging area, ensuring quantity, quality, packaging, labeling, and addressing correspond to customer specifications. Maintain completeness and correctness of all orders filled while following directions and emphasizing safety. Read, count accurately, perform simple math, and write legibly. Handle stress from tight scheduling requirements and shift priorities easily. Shift: 2nd (2p-12a). Pay: $21.02–$23.00. High school diploma required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, or equivalent
- Valid forklift truck operator's license
- Ability to read, count accurately, do simple math (add, subtract, multiply, divide) and write legibly
- Ability to follow directions
- Emphasis on safety
- Responsible work habits
- Familiarity with warehouse systems
- Ability to handle stress caused in meeting deadlines with tight scheduling requirements
- Ability to shift priorities easily
