Job Summary
Order Entry Specialist providing outstanding customer service, sales and administrative support to the Customer Service Team by processing orders, resolving customer issues, and supporting the CSR team. Responsibilities include completing stock item quotes, order preparation and entry within 2-hour turnaround, verifying order details (pricing, customer ID, shipping address/method), prioritizing rush and larger orders, maintaining understanding of MSI pricing/products, delivering product information, proactively communicating with customers to meet commitments, covering CSR territory when needed, and maintaining complete customer files. Requires High School diploma or GED (or equivalent) and 2-3 years of administrative/customer service experience; proficient MS Office (Excel) and strong organizational and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- High School degree or GED and/or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2-3 years prior administrative or customer service experience
- Proficient in MS Office products, especially Excel
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with a wide range of personalities
- Exhibits above average organizational skills, multitasking skills and can recognize and deal appropriately with priorities
- Prior experience working with web-based platforms and/or Great Plains preferred
