Job Summary
Order Entry Customer Account Representative responsible for managing and processing customer purchase orders via Excel, EDI, and the company portal; ensures accurate/order entry, tracks status through fulfillment and billing, and collaborates with Credit, Logistics, and Production to enable order-to-cash processes. Key duties include manual entry of orders from multiple channels, verifying pricing/weights with Sales, monitoring release statuses, coordinating delivery or pickup with Logistics, issuing invoices, and maintaining data integrity across APPX OEI/ISO processes. Requires strong Excel and ERP/EDI familiarity, attention to detail, experience with eCommerce/customer portals, logistics coordination, and credit/collections understanding, with a focus on high-volume accuracy and cross-functional collaboration to minimize delays and billing errors.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in order entry, customer service, or supply chain operations
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., APPX) and EDI processes
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple order channels
- Proficiency in Excel and order tracking/reporting tools
- Experience with eCommerce platforms and customer portals
- Knowledge of logistics coordination and billing processes
- Understanding of credit and collections workflows
