Job Summary
Pull orders based on pick tickets to build customer orders for delivery trucks, maintaining 99% accuracy. Operate industrial power equipment to lift and move product, stage completed pallets, and restock areas while ensuring date code accuracy and proper rotation. Manually lift and move items weighing up to 75 pounds to service up to 94 bays per shift, adhering to good manufacturing and safety standards. Verify orders against Advanced Ship Notices and meet productivity requirements while keeping the work area clean. Summer months require overtime until trucks are loaded.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to operate a manual/powered pallet jack or lift
- Certified Forklift License
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret reports and work instruction
- Ability to respond to common inquires
- High degree of ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions supplied in both written and verbal format
- Close attention to detail required to verify product stock numbers and date codes
- Basic computer knowledge

- Ability to climb a mobile ladder having 5 steps while carrying weights from 10 to 45 pounds, up to 10 times per hour
- Ability to climb into route trucks over 50 inches from floor level
- Ability to remove pallets and products weighing up to 75 pounds
- Ability to service up to 94 bays per shift
- Ability to remove cases weighing from 10 to 40 pounds from the top of the pallet several times per shift
- Ability to work until trucks are loaded
- Ability to work in a moderate noise level environment
- Ability to work on smooth floors that are often wet and slippery
- Ability to work with large doors remaining open
