Job Summary
Manage and direct the cargo station to ensure financial targets are met while establishing high-quality operational standards through workflow improvements. Supervise subcontracted cargo providers, maintain business relationships with airline management and control authorities, and identify root causes of problems to institute corrective actions. Ensure effective planning methods are in place with adequate resources, oversee employee performance and training, and lead Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental activities. Generate detailed operational reports and ensure price increases are implemented. Requires 3-5 years of industry experience with 3 years in management; full-time role at $26-$28/hr with comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years industry experience
- 3 years managerial / supervisory experience
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to deal with conflict
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Technical knowledge of equipment and systems
- Ability to work under pressure
- Customer focus and quality awareness
- Must be able to work in inclement weather
