ORCHESTRA

Teach individual and small group lessons within the school day for elementary and high school orchestras; participate in school events, assemblies, graduation, and community outreach; work with other music colleagues; keep track of district-owned instruments, rental agreements, and repairs; monitor budget allocations and expenditures; apply knowledge of technology and district standards; collaborate with staff, administration, and parents to maintain a positive climate; participate on a district MTSS/CTT team and be capable of teaching in a team setting; strong interpersonal skills and experience working with culturally diverse students to help each child reach their full potential; maintain good attendance and punctuality; perform other duties as assigned; physical duties include lifting up to 50 lbs and supervising students; willingness to collaborate on PLTW or be trained.
