Job Summary
ORCA Team Lead SME responsible for coordinating ship Organic Repair Capability Assessments and training visits, leading a team of SMEs, conducting root cause analysis of Industrial Plant Equipment, auditing shipboard configuration data, and identifying prerequisite Navy training requirements to enhance ship readiness. Primary work location is San Diego, CA with travel and potential consideration for Everett, WA or Pearl Harbor, HI; requires extensive Navy maintenance knowledge and a senior-level leadership background.
Required Qualifications
- At least fifteen (15) years of supervisory experience in analyses, information system operations, and implementation of technical projects relevant to RATT
- Maintenance/training staff experience (ISIC, TYCOM, or Afloat Training Group)
- In-depth knowledge of Navy ship depot level maintenance processes and surface ship maintenance processes
- Undergraduate or associate degree (or seven years of demonstrated management experience in lieu)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in fast-paced environments
- Excellent personnel management and communication skills
- Active SECRET security clearance or eligibility (existing security clearance required)
- U.S. citizenship required for security clearance eligibility
- Willingness to travel up to 35% including overseas locations
