Job Summary
Oral Surgery Dental Assistant supports chairside care in a fast-paced oral and maxillofacial surgery environment, assisting with extractions, dental implants, grafting, and sedation cases; monitors patient vital signs, prepares and sterilizes instruments, takes diagnostic radiographs, ensures strict infection control per OSHA/HIPAA standards, maintains accurate documentation, and collaborates with the clinical team to facilitate smooth patient flow; travel between Solvang, Santa Barbara, and Goleta offices as needed with a professional, compassionate chairside manner and strong teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- CPR/BLS certification
- prior dental or surgical assisting experience
- willingness to learn sedation procedures or experience with sedation
