Job Summary
Oral Surgery Dental Assistant for multiple Central Coast locations; provide chairside assistance during oral surgery procedures (extractions, implants, grafting), assist with sedation and anesthesia, monitor vital signs, prepare instruments, ensure infection control, perform radiographs, document care, and support OSHA/HIPAA compliance while travelling between Santa Barbara, Solvang, and Goleta offices. Requires prior dental/surgical assisting experience, CPR/BLS, ability to travel between nearby offices, and strong teamwork and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Prior dental assisting or surgical assisting experience
- CPR/BLS certification
- Experience assisting with sedation procedures or willingness to learn
- Flexibility to travel between nearby office locations as needed
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Infection control and sterilization practices expertise
