Job Summary
Assist the dental team in providing patient care by preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and educating patients on oral hygiene. Support dentists during procedures while managing appointment scheduling and maintaining accurate patient records. Perform basic dental procedures under the guidance of a licensed dentist. This role requires 2-3 years of dental assisting experience, including 1-2 years in oral surgery, with proficiency in dental software being a plus. Michigan candidates must provide X-ray training certification upon hiring or within 8 weeks.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of previous dental assisting experience
- 1-2 years of Oral surgery experience
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, compassionate demeanor
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Evidence of X-ray training certification
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in dental software and technology is a plus
